Today I headed out for a job fair about 45min-1h away from where I live. So Im driving through town when all of a sudden my hood explodes with smoke left right and center. Not knowing what the hell is going on I pull over into a oil change place which was luckly like 30' away. I pop the hood and see antifreeze all over my engine bay. So when Im about to close the hood a burst of it comes out and burns my hand.

So I go into the oil place and see what they have for repairs for it. Well they said that the only thing they can do is flush the whole rad and then refil it. But that was it. Mind you the whole engine is totally covered with anitfreeze.

Fearing my level is low and the cold weather approaching I decided to get it done. So I head out and the guy in the oil change place tells me that I need the engine throughly cleaned out becuase the antifreeze can cause problems.

So I go across the street and go to a detailing shop. I still dont have a new rad cap and am affraid that the antifreeze will explod again. So I get into the detailing place and pay them $40 to detail my engine bay becasue I was an hour from home and couldnt risk another leak. So they get it done. I call Honda and ask them for another cap and they say that they have one. But the closest Honda dealer is like 15min away. So I drove for 10miin then parked for 10 min to cool the engine then drove for another 5 and got there. They said they had the cap in stock but when I got there they said that I gave them misinformation about the cap I needed saying that my car was a CRV. Ya I dont know the difference...

So I now have to drive back and find a Canadian Tire to get a generic **** brand cap. Finally find one and pay for it. Pop the hood in the parking lot to replace the cap and from the recent driving there is antifreeze all over everthing around the cap area but not as bad as before.

So I finally get to the job fair $110 poorer and they wont let me in. They say it is becuase I am not a student at one of the local universities. WTF?
