This car isn't the nicest ever built, but it's straight and all the details are well thought-out and well executed.

IT7 car

I'm sure lots of other people know of people or are selling racecars as well soooo whattayagot? Let's see 'em. I think this will be an interesting thread, but I'm fully prepared for stupid noob comments. I have it coming.

<-- thinking of getting a loan...

No, for really big ear protectors so I could stand driving an RX7.

a sweet deal on one of the most complete ITA cars I know of. Seriously, there's nothing left to really to do this thing. It's done!! And a sick deal.

Excellent thread idea!

This should be a sticky, I know I'll hopefully be needing to use it as reference in the next 10-24 months.

Of course, by making it a sticky, that virtually guarantees that every newbie will ignore it and go ahead and ask what it takes to convert their '87 Accord w/carbon fiber hood and 19" wheels to auto-x/"weekend road race" specs anyway.

he's not.

rich, I didn't even need to read the thread to know what car you linked to

I'm sure you can bargain with Nadeem. It'd be the perfect school car plus it can run in multiple classes.

I'm not buying an IT7 car or any other racecar right now. I'll do the financially prudent but way more expensive rental deal next year, and be happy to be relatively debt free when I finally do buy something or other after I get myself a truck. I don't even know why I made that loan comment, I know better.

I don't know better enough not to want to buy a racecar eventually, but here we are.

My friend's '99 Miata is for sale. Former Motorola Cup car, but with the new "stock" engine should be legal for ITS. (The new Miata was finally classed, right?)

If anyone is really interested, e-mail me for details.

Here's mine:
http://bbs.sccaproracing.com/u....html

This car has led two SCCA Pro Racing Mazdaspeed Miata Cup races. I'll have it at Laguna Seca for the two Miata Challenge races during the ALMS/World Challenge weekend.

if you mean classed in SM, not yet Mr. Wallens. i would expect them to be this time next year though.

wouldn't surprise me to see them in Pro next year. looks like the SSB miata's aren't competitive anymore with the Z4's. the prices on these should be falling, making for a good opportunity to get a good deal on a car that isn't classed in SM yet, but will be soon.

Anthony Serra's ITA integra was listed for sale on improvedtouring.com in the classified section. If you want to talk about a fully developed car, that is it. If he brings it down to the ARRC, I expect to see his name and that car first on the results sheet.

Funny, I just emailed about that car, wondering what was looking to get for it. He wants $25K!!! Im sure the car is fast, but there seems to be a lot of things that 99% of us could easily do with out (stack dash, custom shocks, etc).

sadly, the car is worth it. If you look at the times he runs, several times he could have won the ITS races. Which is pretty incredible. The car must obviously have a good engine but I think it's his suspension that gets him his speed. It just seems to take the corners so much faster than the rest of the field.

there's a really nice ITA crx forsale that i posted above at a much better price.

And it doesn't have to run against E36 BMW's next year.
