Default Question about my Tokico Illuminas

Hey guys,
I just bought this Prelude and it came with illuminas. If you look at the pictures, the thread of the strut shaft is higher on the left than on the right. Why is this? Also, the bump stops crumled because of age. Are there special bump stops that have to be used? Do the stock ones have to be cut? Any help would be great or even better is if anybody has the install instructions. Thanks.

Hmm the thread thing is pretty weird to me. Probably bad installation?

As for the bump stops, you can just replace them with oem/after-market ones, which ever you choose. You don't need to cut them.

Sorry I don't have any installation instructions. It's not that hard, you just need the right tools.

Supsension experts help this guy out!

I know how to do the install, but I think install instructions will help me figure out why the threads are like that.

You should try calling Tokico and asking them about it. If it's normal or not.

Do you need install instruction for your car in specific or just any Tokico installations?

I guess any instructions Honda specific would work.

take the top nut off, use an air wrench and wrench it down even with the other side, then place the second nut back on and tighten that.
