car hesitates to start up in the morning
Car sometimes doesnt start in the morning.
It cranks and cranks and cranks and nothing happens.
I wait, keep cranking and nothing.
Wait longer, keep cranking and the car starts up.
Car runs fine once it starts, car runs hard and keeps running all day long.
Only happens in the morning after its been sitting
When I crank it it shows 45psi fuel pressure on my gauge on fuel rail
Its been about 3 months with same spark plugs
Its been about 10 months with same rotor/cap/wires
Its been about 1.5 years with same fuel filter
I often run the car to empty.
Should I replace all the maintenance stuff again then replace distributor?
what else can I do?

i have the same problem with my 92 LS right now, its only in the mornings or been sitting that is does it, I hope someone out there knows because I would like to know why its doing it too.
Well not sure with the other guy but my car will crank all day long, it'll start than shut off real quick, start again than shut off real quick, probably a few more times than I have to hold the gas to the floor and start it to get it running than it'll stay started and start the rest of the day perfectly fine
Starter is very strong and there is plenty of juice in the battery...
Ive gone through dead batteries, alternators and starters already
this is an entirely new problem.
Im leaning toward either a bad: cap, rotor, plugs, filter or lastly the dizzy.
Its only when I first try to start in the morning, once it starts it runs all day.

Battery & starter sound OK since it cranks strong.
Wake up & try while it's still real dark out. Have someone crank while you watch for arcing on the cap & wires. Your cap & wires aren't very old (mine are older...) but you never really know until you check.
After ruling that out, you can suspect ignitor or coil. Maybe a flaky ignition switch, but I don't understand why that would only happen in the morning. Electrical stuff under the hood would be more affected by cold & dew.
