Default Mugen or ARC???

So what do you guys think? Mugen air box? Or ARC box ?
I hear that the Mugen box gives 12-18hp. I haven't heard much about the ARC, but my friend has it on his 01 ITR it sounds nice and works great.

I'd go mugen. it's fully enclosed and seems much more functional. I haven't hard ARC but they look cool.

just checked out the both intakes. I think the ARC one will get hot on long driving periods. it looks like it's made of aluminum. thought I'd let you know.

I've had both intakes on my ITR and the ARC one makes barely any power, it had roughly 2-3hp and a loss of 5tq. The Mugen on the other hand made roughly 8-10hp throughout and a 15whp spike from 3k-4500 and it blends smoothly with the graph rather than just drop off like the Spike and AEM has.

If I had to choose between the two I'd suggest Mugen, the ARC design is very similar for each and every car and I'd guess that it performs about the same on most NA hondas. BTW The Mugen Intake can be found for between $650-680

Mugen would be the best choice or you can bling with Gruppe-M intake!

And look at the applications for the M3 and F355!

I think the ARC and Mugen are both waaaay overpriced, just get the Comptech Icebox, its less than half the price and does the same thing. I'm soo sick of Mugen. I do like there new front lip for the 05's but still, there **** is stupid expensive for no reason.
