Default mount question

I know its probably been asked before,a couple million times at that, but what the hell i gotta keep you tech heads on ya game...are there any teg motors that drop into the rex with stock mounts or pretty close to all stock mounts??? what about the 1st gen b16...ive done the swap once but the guy i did it for bought a complete mototr mount kit and i dont know if any of the mounts were different from stock

Well, an SiR B16a doesn't bolt right in with the stock mounts so I would make a good guess that none of the Integra motors bolt in either. That may be why so many companies make mount kits to do this.

some people have no sense of humor ..anyway thanks for the info..i didnt know if it was possible..my friend bought a teg motor, im gonna do the swap but i didnt want to try and drop it in without knowing first...moutn kit it is...thanks lude

yeah some of the old 1st gen integra engines. there was a D16A6. probably an easy swap...

yeah, 'teg motor' is a little vague. 91+ teg motors were b series.

88-89 teg motors were d. (dual cam d series, or zc)

before 88 is not worth your time.

no b series goes into a crx without a mount kit.

good luck.

btw, you need more than just mounts to put a b series into a crx.
