wassup this is actually PapaVTEC but it wont let me switch accounts, i have a Civic EX turbo. this is my problem.... I know that its winter here, the weather sucks, and now my car has a bad iac valve or so i think, the idle is up and down up and down all the time even when warm. and my tranny is loud, so that might be going, someone recently broke into my car and stole the system out of it, someone else backed into my car and broke the front corner lens, and im just down in the dumps about it all, so if you could please give me some hope before i sell this car and buy my dads Acura legend gs. Tranny, noisy clutch in or out!?!? I know the answer so get back to me.
All you have to do is replace the IAC valve come on!!! (if that is the problem)

Keep the thing. I've been over and over this about my own car (needs rings, new fenders, new hood, new bumpers, paint job, etc......) But I guess my love affair with my car overwhelms me sometimes. I just can't part with it, because I know I'll miss her, and I'll end up spending more money on something else.

selling it is one thing...but buying an Acura Legend to replace it???

I hade a prelude that did that with the idle goin up and down. Turned out to be a broken moter mount.

 

Winding noise, smooth or rough!?!

Either or 1st check the tranny fuild, did you need some, did it go away no, then

rough (choppy sounding), does it get quieter in higher gears? If yes, imput shaft bearings.

 

keep that man....gotta keep whoopin those V8's man....everybody has problems with their car...fix over the winter and next year bring that bad boy out and whip more ***.....Honda's gotta love em'.....
