Another fully built h23a is done.... thanks A\V Engineering!
as some of yall know i hydrolocked about 4 months ago and have been down since.
Well its finally done, thanks to A\V Engineering aka anthony(precisionh23a). He built the motor from the bottom up, had the block darton sleeved, installed the motor, installed the turbo kit and made a custom 3" exhaust and its running like a champ. this past weekend anthony, mase, jeff and i went down to miami and boca to go dyno and this what we came out with
344hp/287tq @ 13psi
thanks to mase it is tuned to the T up top while anthony did a bang up job tuning it for driveability.

all i have to do now is get a radiator that can handle it
the stock replacement radiator that i have is acutally smaller than the original so i have to getg another before i really get on it. plus my msd box went on my home so have to get another one those also. once they are replaced i'll let you know

Bottom end build ups run roughly 2,500. But nick had a lot more than just a bottom end build-up.
Nick's car was a real pain in the ***, but in the long run it turned out quite nicely. I'm very satisfied with the results as I feel he is as well. I'll try to add some pictures up a little later as well if Nick does not mind sharing them.
Well... back to work on another customers car... this one should hit around the same power since 300 is all the guy wants out of the motor.

Because we thought we got one with the kit... it was the only wastegate we could find in time. Plus, the ****** boosts 16psi with a 7psi spring, so that's money saved on a MBC, hehe.
The motor could have put down some more power in my opinion, but this car is a daily driver and another 30-40whp is really not going to make that much of a difference. Plus, it is only running a 57 trim turbo.

Here is some eye candy:

Setting the ring-end gap.

Shortblock assembled and darton sleeved.

Go home!

Welcome home...
I'll have some more snaps of the engine bay later tonight.

not bad but i did make 334whp and 317wtq at 12psi with a drag manifold and a t3/t04e 57trim on a deltagate, 756cc injectors
but i was 10.2:1 comp with a all stock head & stock cams and intake manifold
nice power band
is this on pump gas

Yes, this is on pump gas and timing was very conservative as this is a daily driver. I actually hit those same numbers on a 50 trim and 14psi of boost, does that mean I can get a cookie? That's neither here or there though. Nicks boost gauge is also a pile of **** which read all over the place so we interpreted values through hondata. I believe it was just a hair shy of 1 bar if that makes you feel any better.
As I stated, more power could have been easily made but due to a hurricane coming we had to pack up shop and get the hell out of miami, lol.

ok smart *** , all i was saying i was thinking it should have made more power at 16psi for the setup, i was thinking you made more with less boost and less mods
and yes a chocolate chip cookie would be nice
but what do i know
