Is the stock rim size for the itr 15x6 or 15x6.5?
I was just wondering if the 205/50/15 azenis tires would fit without any problems on the stock rims. I am planning to get a set of 97 GSR rims (which i think has the same dimensions as the R rims that's why am asking in this forum) for my car and wanted the azenis tires on them but don't know if the tire would be too wide for the rims. I heard the azenis 205/50/15 is acutally as wide or wider than other 215 tires. Will it work fine? I'll probably be using this for auto-X-ing next year. Please let me know. TIA.

 

stock is 15x6 and 205/50 should fit good.

 

I got 205/50R15 on my stocks and they fit and work fine.

I've got 205/50 Azenis' on my ITR and haven't had any fitment problems. No rubbing and the tires don't buldge out too far. The Azenis is a very "square" tire... much like an R-compound tire As a matter of fact, there are quite a few autoX guys (myself included) that run 225/45 or 225/50 R-compound tires at autocross events with good results. The larger tire has a bit more roll than a smaller 205 but it has so much mor grip!!

Yoshi, LOL, you still remember that? I ended up selling the bar cause it wouldn't clear the ST sway bar. Could you help me get azenis tires though?
