Ok, first a simple (probably stupid too) question: to wire a dual voice coil sub I simply connect (+) and (-) to either of the coils and leave the other coil alone? There'll be only 1 sub in the system...

Another question... Does this look to you like a used or damaged sub?

You can also see that the serial number label is taken off. Got it off ebay, the description said it's a brand new sub...and the warranty is through the seller, so may be that's why there's no label. But why is part of the magnet is chipped off? There are few more spots like this on the magnet. Was it dropped or something? I hope it's nothing major...
