best tire for stock rims
I'm looking for performance tires for my stock rims on EP3 and was wondering what type you guys recommend. I've tried looking, but I'm not too familar and also I couldn't find good tires on my 15".
Thanks.
Thanks.
i went through two sets of falken azenis on my itr's....... great tires
excellent dry traction, and i had no problem in the rain except for standing water (large puddles)
205-50-15
may screw up the speedo a little

That and it will look really dumb IMO. 205/50/15 is too short, even on a lowered EP3.

well theres alot of good tires. best tires is hard to choose from you have bridgestone SO3s, Michelin PS2, and a bunch of other brands. it's better if you set a budjet of how much you want to spend on tires.

im running 205/50R15 yoko AVS ES100s. they look great on my slammed Ep3. great tire. great dry and wet traction and they last a lot longet tehn azenis.
i am also one of the one's that swears on my ES100's. these tires are awesome. i would not choose another tire for 15's. they are inexpensive (from tirerack.com) and they have good wear and excellent traction. i have 205/55/15
two things:
i mentioned the es 100s because they are MUCH better in the wet than the azenis. anyone who says they have no problem with the azenis in standing water is fooling you and themselves.
the azenis, while very grippy, are very heavy and very loud. the es 100 is a nice, easy to afford, easy to drive upgrade.
