Yeah i think that is a good welder... lincon Electric is a good name in welding. The only complaint i have is that you need a new mask because thoes suck... get an auto darking one or a good flip face one. And defantly use the gas! That will make the welds look a lot better and you wont get burned as much from the slag... This welder wont work for aluniuim or for really thinck materials. Stainless and mild steel will be no problem once you get welding down. hope this helps
