okay, anything that I need to know before I do this? (any gotcha's)
Ok, the car is going into the shop to do the following. Let me know if there is anything that I should watch out for.
1. JDM ITR piston swap
2. ITR Cams and valvesprings with Portflow Titanium retainers, Skunk2 cam gears
3. Leitner and Bush Race Port and polish and TB bore.
4. Skunk2 intake manifold
5. V-AFC install
The question is:
Do I need to reprogam my ECU for a higher redline as well as to eliminate the dual butterfly control? The skunk2 mani is a single butterfly system. Can I get by with just a V-AFC?

I think you should either buy a computer(afc vtec controller)or have you ecu modded,i think your gonna have to change vtec engage from 4400 stock to 5k+ now that you no longer have the dual stage as well as air to fuel ratios,which can be done with (afc's ect).However you can't change the rev limit unless your ecu is modded,and with that work you'll probobly be able to take it out further 8,200+

So what you are saying is that I need to get the V-AFC to tune the air fuel ratio and reprogram the ECU to get the higher redline.
