newly turboed D16 misfires
i just turboed my d16y8 this weekend and im having some problems trying to get it to run right... when i floor the gas pedal the car takes off, when it comes under boost (between 5-7 psi) it really starts to pull but then around 5000rpms it starts to misfire really bad popping and completely looses power.. if i bearly push the gas pedal it runs great .. when it comes under boost it will run real strong but i can only push the pedal down about a quater of the way and then it will start popping and stallin again if the boost goes over 7psi it will doit as well.
i have: vafc2 - walbro 255 pump - aem press regulator set around 43 psi at idle
also i put an autometer air fuel gauge in to make sure it doesnt run to lean and when this misfire or whatever happens the gauge is reading rich.
any clues?

Do you have bigger injectors?? If not you are getting serious detonation under boost. I wouldn't do that for long. Get some injectors in there. Or regap your plugs to .028-.030, it will keep the plugs from blowing out. But if you don't have bigger injectors, the vafc won't do anything.
your only running the stock injectors?? no fmu just the vafc?? get some eclipse 450cc injectors man.. dont even drive your car till you get the injectors...get them on ebay for 50.. i just picked up some for extras cause they were cheap.. if you drive it again on stock injectors it will blow..
