codes for stock cd player??
I disconnected my itr's battery, after I connected back on, the cd player needs a code to unlock it, does anyone know what is the code? is the code same for all itr? thanks
if you don't have the code for it, then the next thing to do is take your deck out and take it over to your friendly Acura dealer. they will be able to get the code for your deck.
or,
you can try 7776 different combo until it light up. (which would probably take just as long as taking the deck out & taking it to your Acura dealer.)

get in touch with cerritos honda,,, they do it over the phone, talk with the service manager first then they will have a tech to help you after that... the reason you want to talk to the service manager first is to make sure it gets done and your not just told a bullshit story.. make sure to ask what his/her name is also. this makes them believe if your not happy you can call in to complain on their service. cerritos is the only place i know that will not charge you for anything. ive done it about 10 times..
You don't have to bring the cd player in, you can just call their parts department, and tell them the serial code on your radio, and they'll give you the password... Atleasts that's how it is at this dealership near my house... if they don't give you the code, the PM me with your serial number and I'll call my dealership for it.. they're real cool over there.
How wonderfully secure that is...
Anyway, the stickers may not be where everyone is saying. On my car, I still have the unstuck stickers in the pleather case that came with my car. And the credit card sized one that came with it as well. If you're not the original owner, chances are you'll never find the stickers...

Just phone your local Acura and tell them your VIN #. That's all I did. You shouldn't have to take the deck out or your car into the dealership.

This is a great policy. A policy that we follow. It defeats it's purpose of having a radio code if you could just phone in the serial number of the radio to get a radio code. That just makes it more convenient for theives to take your radio.
You guys bitch and complain about theives all the time. Well stop making it easier for them.
