why is my bbk fuel pressure gauge stuck at 10 even when its off?

its stuck at ten even when i take it off the car...do these go bad often?

its broken b&m gauges suck *** i use a tire pressusre gauge from kragen the litle one for a dollar and it works all you have to do is unscrew the tip and it has a 1/8npt

and it works forever three years now

mine did the same thing but it was a b and m and it was stuck way higher..the 2 bolts in the back of the gauge came out of mine and id didnt notice...i didnt think i had to tighten them when i got it...anyways...i dont buy any more b and m products...
