Idle: Can an IACV go bad overnight?
I changed my oil/filter yesterday, and never drove the car at all, no other changes. When I drove my car today, my idle goes from 800-1500 RPM's constantly once warm. This leads me to believe it's the IACV as there have been no vaccum leaks. Can the IACV go bad overnight & casue this w/ no other symptoms? the car drives fine.
The car:
94 Hatch (DX) w/ JBM D15B VTEC.
TIA

Yea same with me. Just take it off and clean it with some carb cleaner. There is a screen that sometimes gets clogged. Work for me. Also when bolting it back on make sure it is on real good cause i cleaned it like 2 times and then it still did it sometimes but i just unbolted it and then put it back on and now it is fine.
yeah its easy, like to 14mm bolts or somthing and 2 hoses to disconect i had to do this, i think i may have to do it agian, becasue my car is ideling wierd again.
