b18a crank in b17 block
nope, the b17 deck height is the same as the b16(kinda like b16b = b18c). however it will work, if i recall i think it was omniman? that ran a ls crank with custom pistons that were really short...dont qoute me on that but i read it on here somewhere...

With an LS crank, 84mm pistons would give you 1972cc, 84.5mm pistons would give you 1996cc, and 85mm pistons would give you 2020cc. And, of course, this is independent of the block used. But if you are going to use this crank, I would not use a PR3 (B16A/B17A) block. The deck is really too short for so long a stroke. An LS or GSR block would be a better choice.
