Default ITR radiator same as other Integras?

I need a radiator for my car but dont want to buy a new one, rather grab one from a junk yard. Anyone know if regular Integra radiators will fit? Acuraautomotiveparts says they are different part numbers but I would assume it would work ok as long as mounting points are the same or close.

Yep, only difference would be if you got one off an auto integra, in which case there are ports for the trans fluid, which you could just plug since they wouldnt be in use.

I thought the ITR radiator was slimmer and lighter than other integras....still, a "regular" integra's should still fit....

Actually, some of you are half right. The Type R is slimmer and lighter BUT...the radiator fan has to be from a Type R or it will not fit. What I mean by this is, if you put the Type R radiator in say....a GSR, it will fit fine but once you go to bolt the fan to the radiator, the holes don't line up. You can definately get one bolt in...maybe two. The AC fan will bolt directly on.

i don't know if they have this at you place, but out here you could call 1-800-radiator they usually run $120 brand new.

but to answer your question, you should be able to use any 94-2001 integra radiator.
