Default new motor B18C1

well, after getting my ticket cleared (got B.A.R'd as well https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=994367) it was time to take out the All Mighty B16A

here are some pics

96 B18C1

this time, i opted for a milder compression then the CTR's that were in my LS-VTEC

Top View OS PR3's

i reused the b16a head from my LS-VTEC...it was up forsale but no one wanted to buy it so i reused it

its hard to tell but its Skunk2 Stage II's

with the cams on

excuse the bling-bling valve cover...its comming off after i find my T-belt cover

specs:
96 B18C1
OS PR3's
blacktax 4-puck kevlar/copper
b16a head port and polished
skunk2 stage II's
skunk2 valve springs
skunk2 reatainers
skunk2 cam gears
ITR IM
ITR TB
JDM ITR 4-1 header
Apex VAFC
B&M FPR/Guage
walbro 190lph fuel pump

i would like to thank Rob at Robs Machine for taking care of the block and Dale/Chai at Honda of Oakland for taking care of me with all of the parts and gaskets that i needed....

and of course, RJ-eg(6)sr,chiad and henry for giving me a hand(pulling a motor on a incline is hard!)

we pulled it out on thursday night and it was up and running by friday night...

comments welcomed

it should be 180ish... after tunning im hoping its somewhere in the ballpark of 200whp, which is my ultimate goal...<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by EG(6)SR &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">

I almost have the same setup except I have OS ctr pistons gsr head with skunk 2 intake IM, jdm itr header (welded on the outside and ported inside) and hondata s200 n intake gasket running on 93 octane. I put down 197whp n 138 tq ...... I was soo......close to 200whp. I think I just need to get a better header . Well let us know what you put down I want to see what a b16 head can do .

its the same head that danny got done for me like 2years ago? i tried selling it cause i wanted the extra cash to buy another car but no one wanted it so i reused it last minute. i wanted the extra compression with the gsr head but i didnt have to cash to get springs and port it and skunk IM so i just slap this on. ohhh congrats on the 11.7 bell

thanks for all the props
