Can someone tell me some systems for around $300 bucks with subwoofer and amps. I was thinking of systems like pioneer and sony.
I would guess 1 used jl and some amp to push it... with 300 its going to be a bit hard to get something thats not "mickey mouse shT" lol
You can buy a deasent sub box amp and wires for 300 dollars, you can get cables for like 20$ Stay away from over priced places like best buy and circuit city I like ETRONICS.COM I have 2 pyle amps for one i paid 150 for a 2000 watt amp, with remote & works great try buying a box from a friend or make it yourself its not difficult. It might be better to buy a good 10" over buying a cheap 12" I like audiobahn subs.
if your cd player does'nt have sub out your amp will need a good crossover or you will need to buy one seperate to get a good bass sound out of your sub.
good luck man

wow sounds like u want a WHOLE system ... that means speakers and hu and all?
id say buy a used alpine there is 1 for sale for around 130 now... try to get him down a few bux...then go for some decent speakers most likely used if u wanna get good to quality ... if u want front and back its gonna cost around 150 for the set of 4...mayb some low end infinities which i still pretty good in my book and mayb a small amp but that would cause u to be over by about 50-100 bux mayb more
of course u hav to install
300 isnt much i tired to work wit that much well kinda less but ended up not goin through ... just look around for good condition used stuff u can find tons
its kinda hard but just got to budget ur money and it all depends if ur lookin for GREAT or just enough to get u through the day wit some ridin pleasure..and also if ur willin to buy used **** cuse some ppl wont HEAR of it... im not like that though i am as cheap as it comes

Honestly, you would be better saving up a few more bucks and buying something of better quality. Did you ever consider running components with an amp, instead of subs? Just an option, and later on down the line, maybe pick up a sub/amp.

Are you looking to add to an existing system.. meaning head unit and speakers? If not.. and your looking to get everything... 300.00 is not going to float it.
You could pickup a wiring kit for 44.00 at Best Buy (pretty much same price everywhere) Ground wires, fuse monster power cable that runs from yer battery to amp.. amp wire...
They also have a Pioneer Sub for like 100 bucks.. or a lil less thats a great two channel amp
You can pick up a used box and sub somewhere too..100 bucks prob I see them all the time on http://www.craigslist.com
Personally.. stereo is one thing where I like to have everything new in the box, warrenties, etc.. Sure you can piece together something but you get what you pay for. I bought a sub from Best Buy.. a Fosgate.. which got fried cuz my amp went out. ( a used one i bought from someone)....
I had purchased the replacement warrenty for like 10 bucks.. and I got a new sub for nothing...
Spend money on something thats worth it.. keep in mind things go out, warrenties come in handy.. ohh and have some decent security. I have had 2 systems stolen.. until I kill switched everthing, and did all the other security measures. NO use in getting nice ****.. if theives can get right in.
Good Luck

You can find subs for around $100-150, but you're going to have a tough time spending the rest on a box, wiring, and amp. I think you'll need another $100 or 200 for a decent amp to power the sub.
please do not get pyle, pyramid, legacy, boss. they have 2000 and 3000 watt amps for 200 and 300$. thats the biggest joke i have ever heard. i paid 500 for a 1200 watt rockford amp. now thats quality
. to get good **** u should pay 50 cents to a dollar for ever watt the amp says
