P73 ECU question

Default P73 ECU question

What are the differences between the USDM P73, and the JDM P73? Any performance?

Performance......NO! As for differnces....it doesn't require the 2nd o2 sensor, is governed differently, and i am leaving something out which i forget right now. If you are considering purchasing one i would not recommend it. Why.....b/c you cannot comm with it using a scan-tool, and should your caR evaR need emissions testing they will fail it b/c they cannot comm with it. So instead of going thru the trouble of converting from jdm obd2 to usdm obd2...you had mise well go ahead and find youself a usdm p73. If anybody else knows what i am leaving out as far as the differences chime in....there is one if not maybe 2 more things. I know it also has the vtec swith built into the ecu and not on the solenoid.....hmmmm. Cant think of the other thing though!
