Cel codes/resetting ecu
I have done a search and didn't come up with much of anything useful. Hoping someone can either link me, or expain to me how I reset the ECU and how I pull a cel code on a 1998 honda prelude SH. Thanks.
-I tried to pull the neg cable and it didn't reset the cel, also read that there is a fuse behind the main relay under the hood on the passenger side but I am not seeing that on my fuse diagram.

More than 10 min? Ok I suppose I will try that one. Anyone else? I'm pretty sure that it's just a regular maintenence code as I just hit 90k and it came on, but I just want to be sure. Thanks again guys.
do it in this order:
undo neg. terminal, wait 10 seconds, pull ecu fuse (clock/radio under hood), wait 10-20 seconds, put fuse back in, put neg. back on.

To reset the ECU, JUST pull out the clock/radio fuse under the hood for 10+ seconds. Why would anyone remove the neg on the battery?!?!?!?!?!

i remove the neg on the battery and then went and got something to eat. Came back fired her up, and the CEL i fixed was gone w00t.
Anyway. You need to fix the problem before the CEL will go away.
Fix the problem, reset ECU, start the car.

Thanks for all the info guys.
Yes, I know I need to fix the problem to get the cell completely fixed rather than having to reset the ecu as a temporary solution, well not really a solution just so I don't have to look at that damn yellow light, which is why I was wondering if any one can tell me now to check the code for the cel.
-Thanks for the link kellyk75
