i know that stock gsr cams work well with boosted gsrs but what kind of valvetrain is good for boosted gsrs?

Well I want to go turbo on my GSR, and so far from the research I have done (not much) I decided to just keep my stock cams, if anything i'll upgrade to ITR cams. As for aftermarket cams im clueless.

 

ITR cams? they have a duration that you would NOT want for a turbo or forced induction motor...

 

crane cams seem the best

 

Unless you plan on raising your revlimit higher than 8500 rpm you are fine with stock.

 

well i plan on raising revs to 9K

so does anyone have any suggestions

Supertech is awesome. I dont know if you know of earl but he uses that valvetrain on his drag car. He told me something crazy like he shifts at 10k or something like that on his boosted car. I cant remember how many pounds of boost he runs on but im pretty sure its over 18lbs. I also have supertech and no problems yet. I think Supertech is the company that makes skunk 2's valvetrain as well. Anyway if you get supertech talk to earl hes got good prices.
