Do I have to use honda brake fluid for 94 accord brakes?
Some guy told me while I was getting my oil change on my car not too long ago that I have to use honda brake fluid for my brakes. But I though break fluid was universal? Or maybe hes just saying that to be on the safe side? I have no clue....

This is also what several techies at the dealership told me couple years ago. I have been running generic in my lude no probs.
This and oil (and wiper fluid) are the only non-honda fluids that I use.
I do worry about the wiper fluid though....

any fluid will do but i would stay away from stuff from 99cents store, expercially for brake fluid which loves to absorbe moisture overtime.
any dot 3 or dot 4 fluid would work
