I already searched so please dont give me that line. I was doing an oil change yesterday, the first one that I'VE done on the car. Its a obd-0 b16 so naturally its got 2 o2 sensors. I was under the car and was looking up at the manifold and noticed a wire hanging down. Sure enough it was the wire running from the sensor. I dont know how long its been unplugged, but the car runs fine....a little grumpy in the morning and poor idle quality from time to time. The problem is that the clip has melted from where it was resting on the header. Is there a sensor on the market with the clip already on it? Im almost scared to put the thing back on, I dont know how long its been off and I've ran consistant 14.8's with it Any advice or knowledge would be appreciated. And also what should the idle for a b16 be sitting at?

 

You could just go to the junkyard, clip the top of a sensor i.e. the part with the clip off and solder it on.

 

Or you could make your own quick disconnect using insulated male and female spade connectors.

My b16 idles at 900 because my fitv is removed. Set yours to 750.
