Jum cams on order, what kind of valves should I get?
I have placed an order for Jun cams, valvesprings & retainers.
Now what kind of valves should I get to go with the setup? Choices are: Ferrea, Endyne or Skunk2.
Thanks!

dude, what happened to OEM valves???
i dont see a reason in getting different valves unless you got higher comp pistons and thin *** head gasket.

if I got the jun h22a camshafts and just plan on installing the cams, do I need upgraded valvetrain at all? thanks, oh and whats the whp gained from tuned jun cams with bolt ons? 20 whp ?
thanks.
thanks.
Good point, is OEM valves good enough for the extra lift?
Ive seen too many cases where the cams and valves broke from crower cams, makes me think twice before acquiring Jun cams.
BTW, do you have aftermarket ECU? All I have is VAFC.

My motor has 100k, is it worthwhile to replace with brand new OEM valves?

I've heard of improper installation ruining a good set of cams as well. Something about not modifying the rocker arms to run aftermarket cams leads to premature valvetrain failure? Can someone clarify this?
Some ppl said Jun cams would not perform well with stock ECU, I was wondering if thats true.
As for the cam gears, what kind of settings are you using to run Jun cams?

im on 00 on the stock cam gears. Havent gotten around to getting cam gears, should probably do that but im in no rush. Car is currently in the body shop getting minor dings and scratches taken out.
No way i would run jun cams on a stock computer. Some people swear by using a p13 and using a VAFC but id much rather have a more controlable program, hence why i went hondata.

I drive a Sportshift so there isn't any ecu option for besides VAFC. Is this adequate to make use of the Jun parts for the time being?
I may go with EFI PMS as my standalone option in the future.

check out SI Industries valves. awesome price and quality. i know quite a few people who have used them with no problems to date. if anything i'd at least go with some s.s. exhaust valves and some stock intakes.
