Default Please help a fellow hybrider

crap, i havent had my vtec working sence march, the solinoid clicks when you hardwire it, i redid the solinoid wire, and still dosnet work. oh yea, i just got done swaping heads because i thought something might be clogged in there, IT STILL DOSENT WORK! why is this so? yes there is enough oil in it. if the oil pressure switch is bad, it will throw a code right? NO codes. ecu is ok too, i tested it on my friends car. Please help!

yeah did you check the basics..

- speedo sensor
- oil temp sensor
- is the vtec solenoid grounded?
- try changing the solenoids?
- avoid the noid?

my speedo works, where is the sensor?
oil temp sensor, is that the one on the back of the block? i changed that.
there is one wire going to the solinoid. is there suppose to be 2?
im gonna try to change the solinoid and pressure switch this weekend.
noid? as in dominos pizza?

VSS is on the back of the tranny, sticks up a little bit.

the vss has the gear on the inside right? is it a pain to swap out? if it didnt work, would my speedo work?

another guy said it might be the knock sensor, but it would throw a code right?

you'll still get vtec even if the knock was fucked up, I did...test the oil pressure going to the solenoid...

jump the ecu for codes even you don't have a CEL...sometimes they don't wanna show up(that's what happened to my friend). He had two codes pop up, but no CEL
