Crane Cams for an LS?
Did a search
Seems like everyone is running Crower Cams on their LS's. Is anyone running Crane?
These are the cams in question.

Seems like a cross between the 402's and 403's with out the need for springs and such.

no it wont, cause when you get cmas you will want to get more as you find out how much power you can start getting from a n/a motor. just get the valvetrain and get it over with.
Hay 1Quicky, since your the only one responding to the post, what cams are you using? I guess it's safe to say your using springs and retainers, mind you thats not the question i'm asking is it (look at the title)
I understand FULLY why one would need them. If I chose a cam profile that requires them I'll install retainers and springs, not a big deal. Now for the question at hand. Is anyone running Crane in their LS? Why does everything have to be so difficult..........quick, i know your only trying to help bt I think your missing the point.
