Alternator
Alright before we put my new alternator on my check engine light never came on and we changed it and the light came on 3 times tonight.... any clue as what it could be its a crx with a b16, any ideas would be helpful... Thanks

Depending on the ECU you have.
If you have an ECU with the plastic see-through window and the LED is visiblly blinking behind it then that's the blinks you count.
Long blinks = 10 (3 long blinks grouped together in a row is 30)
Short blinks = 1
I.E. 2 long and 5 short = 25

What kind of alternator did you buy ? Are you sure its working correctly ? Is it recharging your battery ? How much voltage does your battery have. If you are low on volts, sensors will not get the correct amount of voltage therefore they will throw a code.

And if you have the OBD1 cars you will look at how many times the check engine light flashes to get your code.
