i was getting code 15 and 16. (searched archives) i changed the injectors out, replaced the main relay (per link to about.com), and changed ecu's. same codes on the new ecu to start with. today it started stalling and losing power a mile from the house. code 15 this time. took it home. reset ecu aand checked volts at dizzy. all good. now it runs ok but i am still gettting high/wavering idle with no codes. should i carry a spare dist? where should i look for a short? should i just run new power wires to the dist through the firewall? i am getting tired of thei breaking down crap! thanks for all of the help.

 

sounds to me like you need a new igniter in the distributor
