Default NEED HELP with code 14

ok, first of all, my car is a 97 HB swap with a obd1 b18c. the swap turn out great, but the only thing that i'm stuck on is the IAC sensor (code 14). thats the only thing making the cheak engine light comes on. i know that my stock dx engine has a 2 pin and a 3 pin connecter. and the obd1 b18c has only the 2 pin connector. my question is; what am i suppost to do with the 3 pin connector? and what do i need to do to get the check engine light off? PLEASE HELP SOMEONE!!! thanks.

im currently having the same situtation at the moment...im gonna try this on monday becuz i have work i dunno if it gonna work yet but i already have a 2 pin connecter and the helms stated that on the 2 pin connecetor has only a +/- and the 3 pin connector has +/-/? which i forgot what that third/middle wire is for (brown colo wire?) im gonna try to splice the 3 pin and make it a 2 pin and see how it come outs....i will give you my input later...or worst case...i think our IAC valve might be broken already....

my IAC is not broken. the 2 pin is connected but the 3 pin is just left disconnected, because i don't where it goes to on the b18c, since the gsr motor doesn't have a 3 pin connector. hopefully, your theory will work out. please let me know how it turns out. thanks.

i dont know about the pins but I have heard that if you have a iac code that you might just need to clean it. remobe the 2 bolts find the screen thing and spray with carb cleaner. and make sure you do it good.

you are correct, but remeber she (i hope that a she becuz of gal) has a odb2 car with a odb1 engine so i think she has the same problem as i do and from research on H-T i think that will fix our problem becuz i have tried the cleaning process and it failed actually i clean and traded iacv and it still idle up and down so hopefully the pin thing will work for me...wish me luck!
