i just installed JDM corner lights and here is the problem:
during the day, they work fine. when i signal they blink and everything. when i hit the hazard light button, only the rear are blinking. the front ones are blinking but almost unnoticable.
but here is the big problem, when i turn my headlights on at night all the blinkers stay on and don't blink when i signal.
i noticed that there are only two wires on the JDM corners (green and black), but there are three on USDM ones.
my gauge cluster, steering column, steering wheel, and combo switch is also JDM.
so some stuff is different and i don't know much about it.
did anyone else here have the same problem??? how do i solve this???
please respond if you know anything about this because i'm getting really pissed
any help will be greatly appreciated....

the bulbs you are using..are they dual filliment(sp)?

 

i'm using the ones that came with the JDM corners. should i get different bulbs???

 

here is the deal. in japan the corner lights don't go on when you turn the head lights on. they only function when you signal, turn your hazards on or when the courtesy light(parking lights) is on. basically hook it up to the signals only. it looks sick. thats how i'm running mines.

i did what you said and it worked. thanx dawg. all i had to do is switch one wire.
but now i'm thinking about getting vision corners...

heres why you are having that prob the jdm corners in japan never blinked reason being they had sidemarkers stock so the extra wire is your problem,just get some markers...
