Default cracked block

anybody ever cracked a block trying to put an oil pan on??

dude the bolt would shatter before he hurts the block, its torqued to like finger tight.

no I didn't use an impact wrench and I'm pretty damn sure it was already cracked . since I wasn't tighting the bolts that hard. I wrecked it 8months ago and slid up on an island, split the oil pan in half, and I'm pretty sure that's when the block was cracked. just wanted to see if it was even possible. thanx.

i think it was cracked or very prone to cracking before u tightened that bolt

Yeah, there's no way in hell you managed to crack a healthy block by tightening an oil pan bolt.
