Default should i go s/c or turbocharge

if i go supercharge im gettin the jsrc and if i go turbocharge in going to be buying the full race kit.your opinions please. its going in my 2004 rsx-s

it mainly depends on ur budget and what u like better overall. a supercharger will be easier to install. a turbo will be easier to upgrade and runs more efficiently but it is harder to install and should prolly be rebuilt after about 60k miles or so. something about hearing a blowoff valve on a turbo rsx-s just seems a lot more appealing to me.

turbo has the most overall potential. the sc is a better daily driver.

It all depends on what you are looking for..

I can tell you from my past experience w/my 00 Si, i went through the all-motor high compression route, the high compression w/nitrous route, then the supercharged route, then 1.8L supercharged route, but I was never completely happy with it until it was the 1.8L turbo..

Don't get me wrong the supercharger is a very nice power adder, it just depends on what kind and how much power you are looking for..


I haven't had the Type S very long yet, but I'll tell ya, I'm currently on the nitrous route, but the turbo thoughts have already entered haha..

Good luck; I'm sure you'll enjoy whatever your choice is ..

if money is not an option get a z06 or a cobra leave us poor ppl the hondas lol
but really just go k24 first swap the bottom end then boost it u will love that i know a guy doin that all motor in a 89 hatch it runs 13.6 on motor now on a bad night spinnin all the way down on azenas
