Heater hose valve?
Has anyone had any dealings with this component on your car?
I notieced allot of hondas have had this valve on the car, and there would be a cable connected to it, to open and close it, basically bringing heat into the car...
while removing the engine today in my gsr, ive noticed that the valve is just sittng there, and i dont see any cable hooking to it.... Because im beginning to wonder if this is why the a/c hasnt worked since i got the car....
Does anyone know if there should be a cable or not?

On my 92 Integra, the valve controls the flow of coolant through the heater. The A/C is a separate system. As you know when you turn on the AC, you can also have AC running and still get heat. You just get drier heat. If the cable is missing, the valve will be positionned wherever it was last set at.
