when im driving in 5th gear after the about 30 seconds it pops out of gear what could be the problem. also i started noticing that when im driving if i hold on to the shifter i feel and erratic vibration happen every other minute. what could be my problem.

 

Transmissions popping out of gear can commonly be shift forks that are bent or about to break.

 

top off your trans fluid. Sounds like its low.Ive seen this a hundred times including my own car.

 

Popping out of gear..... I'de say your sincros.... Give it a little while and it will start to pop out of 4th then 3rd.... so on and so on...

 

Have you added any thing new to the car (short shifter,bushings) Check all the bolts on the shift linkage.

yeah this happend to me too, found out that I had no tranny fluid. I filled it up with Honda MTF and the problem was fixed.
