slight grind in first gear
ive heard of 2nd and 3rd gear grinds, but my tranny grinds in first sometimes. I've changed the fluid and i dont have a short shifter, so i dont know what the problem could be

hondas typically have a 1st gear lock. Meaning any faster than 10km and your going to grind. I did however bypass it by using gm syncromesh transmission fluid (buy it at the gm dealership). It made the transmission so smooth it would let me in first and just grind the living **** out of the first gear even though before it didn't let me.

yea mine kind of does that too. even at lights it can be a bitch to get into. sometimes it pops in(forcefully), but most of the time i blip the throttle to get the gears spinning and it slips in. The syncros are just getting worn in my case and the bitch pin is really loose.
