Hey guys i have a 96 accord Lc and umm im having some kind of problem when i have my system hooked up and when the bass hits my rpm gauge drops like the car wants to stall out or some thing i have had my battery tested and it is fine and i also had my alternator tested and that is also not the problem im going crazy here cuz i cant figure it out!!!!! can any one help me ?????

 

What kind of system are you running?
I have a cheap 1000w amp and 2 cheap 500w 12" subs.. I never really had a problem with the idle..

The thing is ; if its too powerfull (2,3,4k+ watts) your battery and alternator cannot give all the power it needs. You may try getting a condenser , and/or a more powerful alternator... But thats only if you have a really big sys.. If its getto like mine, then its something else..

 

well see i had a 800 watt 4 channel amp pushing two 12's for a while but when the problem started i had a 600 watt 4 channel pushin the same two 12's and what is will do is the idel will drop like the car wants to shut off but the alternater is fine and same as the battery im stumped ???????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????
