need help: clutch question
hi, everytime i push my clutch down all the way to shift from 1st to 2nd and sometimes 2nd to 3rd; i feel a slight vibration on the clutch..that vibration used to not be there, does anybody have any idea what it may be?
I have the same problem right now; it started after Honda changed my clutch out at about 80k miles, I am now at 90k. I was also wondering what this could be.
it could be a number of things. but what you are most likely feeling is the flywheel. if it was not properly torqued down then one of the bolts could be backing out.
it could also just be that with the new clutch / flywheel that you are feeling more. i put a lightweight flywheel in my car and i feel a lot more of everything the engine does.

there's about a little under 70k on my clutch and flywheel.. is it time to change it or should i wait till it starts to slip a little bit? My clutch doesnt slip at all at the moment..just that slight vibration when you depress on the clutch.
After I had my clutch changed, I can feel vibration above 7000 where before is was smooth all the way to the rev limiter. I think they got cheap on my and didn't resurface the flywheel.
Oh well, at least now I have access to a good work area so I can do everything for myself...
