H22 Swapped into CRX
I am trying to swap an H22 into my 89 CRX, which currently has a b16 in it. I will probably buy the engine from JDM which si about $2300. Does anyoen knwo how much this swap usually coasts approximately and what all extra work/parts you need. I heard you shoudl replace the axles and suspension when you dot hsi swap due to increased weight.
Try seaching at the top right of your screen. member 2point2 did the swap. You will find alot of info on his thread... it is alot of pages.

Been covered, My suggestion is find the guy who is making the B- h series conversion plates. THen you can bolt up your B16 trannny to the H22
And no need to beef the suspension up, h22 is only 60 lbs heavier then bseries
