SIMPLE GREEN!!@O*&!^*(@! I just cleaned my rims, washed my car, washed my engine bay, mowed the lawn, washed some dishes, did some laundry, and cleaned my interior with SIMPLE GREEN! Simple Green is used for HELLLA STUFF. just dilute it with water.

NOTE: did not use it to mow my lawn

Well if you have tinted windows Simple Green might be a bit harsh even if its deluted. I just use a paper towel with soapy water and work quickly. Works great on my tint. I do get streaks if I dont move fast enough but nothing is perfect. As for the SI rims I would also like to know. I have some water spots that I cant seem to get rid of.

On a car TV show I saw a while back they were showing viewers how to clean a car... For the windows they used a mixture of vinegar(sp), alcohol, and water in a small spray bottle... Ever since then I use that same mixture, it works pretty well... I also use newspaper to clean it, im not sure what they used....

Do you know the mixture ratio for that? And its just regular rubbing alcohol right?

- If you have tinted windows,
Get a damp washcloth to whip the windows down
Then I would get a DRY cloth to whipe the streaks away.
By using something dry after cleaning the windows is the trick. It gets rid of all the streaks.

- No tinted windows I would reccomand using 20/20 (WORKS GREAT) or even Armorall Streak free. They both works great. Sometimes you dont even have to worry about streaks with those cleaners.

About the rims -
I use simple green. **** works great on rims and tires. I spray the hell out of my rims and tires and let it sit for a couple min. I scrub the tires down a lil just to get the buildup off then rinse. Comes out lookin like new.
