ATTN: JDM Fanatics, Takata MPH-340WR?
Tommy Guns pointed out the strange Spoon Eye bolt packaging. Then my buddy Chris, JDMKLR also mention something odd about it.
Then I told him about the Spoon stickers on the packaging. Well Chris, here are the pics. What's the difference between the MPH-340R and the MPH-340WR?
Are these real? J/K
They better be!
I was focusing this pic and all of a sudden it just started glowing. WoW

My main concern is, will it fit in my DC2?

I see, no wonder they're short. That only means I'll have to find a different mounting location. I'll get the cage in first and worry about the harness later.
Thank You for the info.

nice they are also shorter huh?? that would be better than for most of the honda's, dont know about u guys but i have plenty of belt in the front and rear of my harness's, and also my belts dont come with the plate..
just wondering if there is anything u can put on the inside of the recaro's where the eye bolt doesnt rub up agaisnt the floorboard under the armrest???

Does that mean it's impossible to mount on a DC2? Even with a roll cage?

. Hehe i hope they fit. SPOON EYEBOLTS AND BACKING PLATES!!! WOW! That **** is off the hook! Glad to see you are gonna do things right with the car and are going to take care of her well.
Its all just a look. Am not hating, no, I'm just making people realize that we can't live in a totally JDM world. Not all JDM inspired parts are as "performance" oriented as they seem to be. I did a quick study and found out that the ricey Weapon-R harnesses are SFI approved...and the Takatas are not. This explains why guys like Chris Rado, Lisa Kubo, Steph Papadakis...even with their superstar status...aren't strapped down with JDM Takata harnesses. The same applies for racing seats. Not all of the JDM seats you all love to have will pass all racing organizations' regulations. So its a good idea to check for certain tags when considering a racing seat or harness.
Bottom line is...I've had it with the JDM ****. Yes u get props for your set up and show points for your Takata harness being rare and an uber-JDMish item. But at what expense? Getting hassled and pay big $ that is not even SFI approved? HELL NO ...
If you're true to the JDM style...you will build your car to race and perform, and not simply to front. As it shows, a purely JDM styled car in the US...is only as good as a show car.
