I forgot where i had read it, but i saw somewhere that it was possible to use the turbo manifold from a 1g- 2g eclipse on an H22 cause the bolt patterns matched up. Does anyone know if this is Really true or not and if there are any Fitment/ space issues? Also, what kind of numbers would that put down?

 

it wasnt a direct fit, the bolt holes didnt line up so he drilled them out and made new holes on the manifold. you would need to put the h22 gaskett agains the dsm manifold and then drill out new holes.

I dont even think it will fit up to the H22 head at all. I know for certain though that with slight bolt hole modification the DSM manifold will fit on an H23 or F22 head with no problem.

 

i mated a buddys 1st gen manifold up to my h22 when the motor was out. i suppose it can be done and work ok, but i personally didn't like what i saw. the ports in the manifold would need to be worked excessively to provide a smooth transition. even then, it wouldn't look pretty. although, the bolt holes can deffinately be slotted to fit correctly.

i wouldn't even bother with trying it, let alone running with it.
