Default Spoon mirrors and JDM visors

Odd question...

Does any one here have the spoon mirrors and jdm visors on their R, If you do could you post pics. I'd like to see how they line up compared to the stock mirrors.

I decided that If I can get some spoon mirrors or nice look-a-likes fro a good price I want them.

Are they power regulated? If not , then why change your power mirrors.

The Spoon mirrors were made to effect a minor weight savings and minor aerodynamic advantage.

I guess when you've tweaked everything else....

What I'm getting after is...

In this pic see how the USDM mirrors line up with the visors, I would like to see a pic of how the spoon mirrors line up with the visors - Is there any problems like overlapping, not reaching or just not lined up and looks like a poor fit?

you're funny Bbasso. it seems as though you may have to cut your losses and pick one or the either.

Cut my losses??? I don't understand...

I'm looking for a pic, maybe someone has to snap it...
So I could see the same area of what I took.

I just want to see how the mirrors and visors look together.

rather simple I thought.

I think that what he was implying was that you are gonna have to sacrifice the perfect fit for the JDM bling.

hmm

i ll post more pics later on. also of the mirror glasses and so.

fitting is okay. but not perfect. but these mirrors look much better that the big dump *** oem ones..... mirrors can destruct of complete sideview of the car.

and mine are power regulated. and the light won is about 600 gr. per mirror. thinking thats much.... or?
the only bad thing is the little electric motor. very slow, not that fast as the oem mirror one.....

Both pics helped out quite a bit. Thanks. If anyone else has pics don't be shy... more can't hurt.

as far as "fitment" goes, you might want to make sure you buy a good reproduction of the spoon, if not the real spoon mirrors itself. if i'm not mistaken, between the two pics above, i think the one attached to the blue civic is a real spoon/vision sidemirror, whereas the one attached to the white car is something else. i believe spoon may have left the base of the mirror original abs plastic, and only the mirror housing is carbon(just like the one in the aj pic), but i am not 100% sure. hope that helps.
