im am about to buy a stock h22 head to put on my h23 and it says there is no solenoid. What dose the solenoid do. how much would one of these cost?

 

The VTEC solenoid engages VTEC... if i were you (and i don't think that i am) i would wanna know where exactly the solenoid ran off to. Also, i would wanna see pics of said Head to make sure it Actually WAS a H22 head they were selling you.

 

Dont buy it. Buy a complete h22 head. You dont wanna be on a scavenger hunt for sensors and solenoids.

 

yea im not buying it think i found someone on here with a stock head and im going to build it up
