Default Catback apexi worldsport

I have a apexi n1 catback on my itr, i dont like it and want to change for something else. Id like the spoon sport silencer but cant afford it. I think apexi worldsport will be the one that replace the n1. I dont like the look of the n1 muffler and i want something quieter. It is a good choice ? Someone using this catback on his itr ?? I want some reviews. Ho yeah ive already search on this forum and didnt find anything. Thanks

The WS will be much quieter, but you'll lose quite a bit of power. The WS has sort of...no gains, at all. How much are you looking to spend?

Do you have any dyno graphs? Any time slips? If not I suggest not talking out of your ***. A chambered muffler will definatly have less gains over a straight through. Exhausts don't make MUCH power alone anyway.

Thanks for assuming I'm talking out of my ***, I appreciate it. I actually did have dynos, although not of my own car, showing just that. I'm on my girlfriend's computer now, and so don't have them, but if you really care that much, I'll try to dig them up later. Meanwhile, try to stop e-thugging up the place more than it already is.

E-thugging? Umm I just wanted to see if you had proof that this exhaust does not make/free up any power. I can say that the Greddy SP makes like 8whp, should everyone just believe that? Or would you want to see why?

Just curious...why did you say he was "talking out of his ***", but then basically agree with what he said??

I did not mean it as a personal attack. When someone makes a claim with no proof then that is called "talking out of your ***" I'm assuming everyone here knows the difference between a straight through and chambered muffler. I was only agreeing that straight through flows better than chambered, I was not agreeing with the comment of " The WS does not make HP." Since the original poster was going from a straight through to a chambered. We don't want him to think he would loose power if that is not the case.

Thanks for clarifying that a little, because it sure felt like an attack. As far as backing up claims, I understand what you're saying, but if everyone had to post a dyno sheet anytime they made a claim about some power improvement or loss, the threads would take a ludicrously long time to load.

i dont care about losing 2-3 hp at top end. Dyno can tell the difference but im sure ill not feel it. The ws is 2.5 exhaust with no bottleneck so im sure its better than oem

It is NOT 2.5. Rather 60mm.

B2 is correct. 60mm=2.38 inch.

I've got the Apexi WS and love the stock sound. It doesn't even sound like you have an exhaust on there. I also felt a power gain when putting my header, cat, and this exhaust on, much more than I felt from replacing these parts on my previous car. You can check out some pictures on my cardomain site, the last few at the end of the first page show it, that's when it was brand new and shiny so it sticks out, looks a little better after a few weeks.
