VSS problemo

Default VSS problemo

Ok folks, i'm having some freeaky problems with my VSS- as in, it shut off a while back so i swapped it with another one and for the last two days, i've had about 95 miles of knowing how fast i was going and wonderful, wonderful VTEC(gotta love VTEC). anywho, it just sort of randomly comes on and shuts off and i was wondering if anyone had any ideas... any input would be appriciated

Lude Vss's are only held on by one bolt which sux. So if that bolt is not tight then the actual sensor can lose contact with the gear. Make sure you tighten down the bolt but do no break it..

might wanan check your wiring too.. shorts can happen when exposed wire touches metal for a split second

yeah, i was thinking of trying to tighen it down a little more, but like you said, i don't want to break anything (specifically that oddly shaped bolt of the bracket that holds it on)
