and figured it would make a good poll too!
So - the question is which would you rather have and why?

i like the Z6 because of the newer technology in it. variable cam, higher rev line, obd-1 ect.
parts seem eaier to find for it. so many people have them layign around and the after market seems to like it better. Honda improved on the A6 with the Z6, thats enough for me.
either can be fast with money, both are really similar to each other. its a toss up.
stock / minor bolt ons= Z6 for me
NA (major head work) = A6
turbo = Z6
just my preference

y8's combustion chambers are sweet...and i hear the a6 bottom end is the bomb. Z6's head supposedly flows better but if you are a baller and port then Y8 for sure!

Y8 because it was a fun little motor.
If I had to choose one to build, it would be the Z6. Better bottom end and it is debatable that it has a better head.

haha my d15b DPFI engine did that
but i have to say d16z6 hands down...they love boost, run strong with a chipped p28, and best of all they are dirt cheap (not to mention building them)...thats why i am building one for 20+psi
