Default AGX for 88 CRX?

I was thinking about getting the KYB AGX struts to compliment my Eibach Sportlines, but I can only find the AGXs for the front left and right, and none for the rear. They have them in the rear for the 89+ but I cant find them for the life of me for the 88s. Anybody ever seen them? If I cant find em, then Im gonna have to spend the big bills for the Konis...
Thanks,
Tim

if u want AGX's you'll have to swap to 89-91 CRX/Civic rear lower control arms.

swapping the lca will be easy and cost less than you might think... call a few junk yards and see if you locate some in good condition...i paid $7.00 for 1 of mine.

its not worth the trouble. the agx will blow out on you in a matter of months if you are running more aggressive springs and driving the car hard. i've had 2/4 blow out on my in 18-24 months of having them.

i know that this advice isnt good for everyone. we all have budgets. but if you can, save your money and go for something a little better than the agx. i know a lot of my autocrossing buddies swear by the tokicos because of their value/performance ... they arent going to break the bank and can usually handle stiff springs. if you are a baller, then konis are the way to go. those will be on my car next summer, i think

Do the Konis have adjustable spring perches for civic?......My buddy has a miata w/Konis and he was able to lower the car about an inch by adjusting the perches and retaining the stock springs.

Being a parts guy i would not reccomend agx shocks either. Only a one year warrantee and i have seen many blow after a year and a half or so. Both Tokico and Koni are much better quality in the long run.
